An eleven-storey building providing 404 student bedrooms in Liverpool is the latest contract win for the steel decking and concrete flooring teams at Raised Floor Solutions.
The new building will be connected by gardens to a twelve-storey Marriott Moxy hotel, part of the same £19m development under construction for NR Capricornus, a division of Niveda Realty.
Spanning Oldham Street, Benson Street and Back Renshaw Street, the new development will tower over neighbouring buildings becoming a notable landmark in this area of the city.
The student building will provide 367 cluster bedrooms with shared communal spaces plus 47 studio apartments located on the uppermost two levels, along with a Sky Lounge.
Raised Floor Solutions is currently on site delivering the project. Metaldeck Steel Decking is supplying and installing 12,000m2 of Kingspan Multideck MD60 onto which Metcon Concrete Floors is designing and installing 150mm concrete slabs
The scheme has been designed by architects Falconer Chester Hall and is scheduled for completion in August 2020.Posted by Jackie Posted on 05 Jun
