Raised Floor Solutions has completed supply and installation of access floors for the construction of new purpose-built offices at Bruntwood’s prestigious Booths Park in Knutsford.
Booth’s Park provides high quality commercial office accommodation set within a picturesque 220-acre parkland setting close to junction 19 of the M6.
The new purpose built two-storey 70,676 sq ft office building was designed by award winning architects Calderpeel for end tenant Portswigger Web Security. The cyber security firm is currently based in the town but is moving to bigger premises in line with growth and expansion plans.
The bespoke two-storey office features two wings joined by a central area, with bronze and timber cladding, along with full-height glazing. Each of the wings is divided into four suites of roughly 6,800 sq ft each.
RFS’s Access Floors team supplied and installed 5,800m2 of 150mm Kingspan RG3 raised access flooring for office suites on the ground and first floors. To eliminate the need for manual carrying, RFS preloaded the access floor materials prior to the building envelope being sealed.
The contract was completed ahead of programme.
