Kingspan Multideck 50-V3 floor decking system has been launched and Metaldeck, the steel decking division of Raised Floor Solutions, is already installing it on four new projects.
Metaldeck will supply and install 10,665 sq m of Kingspan Multideck 50-V3 for the construction of a new Virtus Data Centre in Middlesex, 1,736 sq m for a new school in Holly Lodge, Liverpool, 1,598 sq m for a new mezzanine floor within a Hellerman Tyton factory in Wythenshawe, Manchester and 1,564 sq m as part of the development of a new Haulfryn holiday park in Devon.
As an approved supplier and installer of Kingspan Multideck, Metaldeck was the first to gain access to the new MD50-V3, which has been subject to a number of design improvements as part of Kingspan’s ongoing product development.
MD50-V3 has been produced in higher grade steel and therefore benefits from improved spanning capabilities. The range of gauge thicknesses has also been extended delivering design performance and economic savings.
Steel floor decking remains a popular alternative to traditional forms of construction, providing contractors with a versatile and sustainable flooring solution that is acknowledged to minimise onsite installation durations. In 2013, Metaldeck supplied and installed over 150,000 square metres of Kingspan Multideck on projects throughout the UK.
The Lancashire based composite flooring contractor is also an approved supplier and installer of Hoesch Additive Flooring, Kingspan’s new long spanning steel deck which was acquired as part of its purchase of ThyssenKrupp Construction.
A new brochure outlining the advantages of Kingspan Multideck 50-V3 is available.Posted by admin Posted on 26 Mar
