Raised Floor Solutions has won the contract to install access flooring for the redevelopment of a former gin distillery and bank HQ in London into commercial office space.
Laser House in Clerkenwell, located near the Barbican, is being transformed into Technique; 74,000 sq ft of new state-of-the-art sustainable ‘human-centric’ commercial office space. Most of the original buildings are being retained as part of the sensitive £80million redevelopment, with the construction of extensions fronting Goswell Road and Pear Tree Street.
Internally, the buildings will be repurposed from their original 1960’s uses into modern and versatile spaces that will better serve innovative future-focused businesses and accommodate multiple tenancies.
The redevelopment will provide high quality office space across the ground and four upper floor levels, in addition to a basement. Tenants will benefit from cycle storage, shower and changing facilities, waste and recycling facilities.
The contract will be fulfilled by RFS’s Access Floors team who will supply and install 5,500m2 of Kingspan RMG 600 raised access floors across all upper levels.
