Metal Decking for Westminster Park

Raised Floor Solutions has secured the contract to supply and install metal decking and metal roof deck for the first new building to be constructed at prestigious Westminster Park in Liverpool.

Westminster Park is a major new £100m mixed use development at the ‘gateway’ to the city centre. A total of 614 luxury one- and two-bedroom apartments are under construction in three blocks of nine to 17 storeys. The scheme also includes commercial space, a communal residents’ gym, cycle storage, parking, concierge and an enclosed multi-functional courtyard and gardens.

The 1.72-acre development is located on Scotland Road, just minutes from Liverpool’s famous waterfront and dock and is within Pumpfields, an area undergoing considerable regeneration and acknowledged as the new northern extension to the city centre.

Block A is being marketed as ‘The 56 at Westminster Park’, named after the number of apartments within the building, and, according to investment agents, is due for completion Q1 2024.

The contract is being delivered by two divisions within Raised Floor Solutions; Metal Deck for steel decking and Metal Roof for metal roof deck.

Metal Deck is due on site this April to commence the supply and installation of Multideck MD60, Kingspan’s original and most frequently specified steel decking profile.

Metal Roof will follow, supplying and installing metal roof decking also with a 60mm deep profile.  In total, 3870m2 of steel decking will be installed over eight storeys.
