Raised Floor Solutions has secured the contract to provide steel floor decking and concrete floors for a stunning new student apartment scheme in Lancaster.
One hundred and sixty new en suite bedrooms will be delivered in two eye-catching linked buildings. Building one will offer two sets of 12 cluster flats, containing six and seven en suite bedrooms respectively. Building two comprises four cluster flats each with six en suite rooms.
Each cluster flat contains a communal kitchen, dining and lounge area with laundry facilities. Also included within the scheme is a games room, cinema, gym, study rooms, lounges and amenity space.
The innovative student scheme, called Filterhouse Studios, is the work of international property development and investment business, Oasis Holdings.
Raised Floor Solutions started on site in October 2019, with its Metaldeck Steel Decking team supplying and installing 3522m2 of Kingspan Multideck MD60.
Sister division, Metcon Concrete Floors, has designed a 150mm concrete floor slab which will be installed with A252 traditional mesh reinforcement.
