Raised Floor Solutions has achieved the revised ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standard.

The flagship standard is widely respected as the benchmark business management system with over 1.1 million certificates issued worldwide. Over the last three years, 153 experts in 95 international countries have comprehensively updated the Standard so it better reflects modern business practices.

As with previous ISO 9001 Standards, the new 2015 criteria majors on a business achieving conformity of it’s products and services in order to meet customers’ needs and expectations.

Whilst previous Standards have been prescriptive on the documentation needed in order to comply with ISO 9001 criteria, the new Standard acknowledges that different businesses have different operational requirements due, in part, to emerging technology and the shift towards a global marketplace.

Therefore, organisations are tasked with putting in place management processes that are unique to their business and its operations whilst meeting legislative requirements relevant to their industry.

The Standard adopts a number of quality management principles such as a focus on customer experience and satisfaction, the motivation of staff by top management and continuous improvement monitoring.

Following an independent assessment by ISO auditors TUV, Raised Floor Solutions was judged to meet the criteria set by assessors. ISO 9001:2015 certification has been achieved for the design, procurement and construction of metal deck floors, concrete infill and raised access floors for buildings of all sizes. The new certification is valid for three years.
