Raised Floor Solutions has secured the contract to supply steel decking for the construction of a new high quality build-to-rent residential apartment building in ‘Corridor Manchester’, a new innovation district in south Manchester City Centre.
Called Burlington Square, the scheme is from Salboy, the development business founded by British billionaire businessman Fred Done, working in partnership with Factory Estates. It’s the second Salboy scheme the business has worked on, following delivering 16,016m2 of steel decking and concrete flooring for SYNQ on Tib Street in Manchester in Summer 2018.
Burlington Square comprises 273 one and two bedroom apartments and penthouses over nine-storeys. Also within the scheme is a gym, communal spaces, central garden courtyard and rooftop areas.
The contract will be fulfilled by Raised Floor Solutions’ specialist steel decking division, Metaldeck. The Metaldeck team will supply and install 21,000m2 of Kingspan Multideck MD80.
Metaldeck commenced work on the project in October 2018.Posted by Jackie Posted on 15 Jan
