Jamie, Richard and Scott from our Contract Management department took on the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, successfully raising an impressive £1641.25. This increases the total we have raised for Derian House to £24,521.85 since they became our sponsored charity in 2020. Raised Floor Solutions are delighted to continue supporting this brilliant local charity, which make a significant difference to the lives of the children and families under Derian House’s care.
Derian House provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West. Please feel free to track our contributions throughout the year on our Just Giving page with greatly appreciated support from friends, family, clients, contractors and suppliers.
“I just wanted to write and say a massive thank you for your very kind support and donation of £1,641.25 to Derian House Children’s Hospice from your team’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Your donation goes towards providing care and respite for 400 babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across the whole of Lancashire, South Cumbria and North Manchester.
In 2023, it will cost us £6 million to provide our services and we receive only 29% funding from statutory sources so we rely on our own efforts and the support of our friends within the community to help us meet our financial target. Therefore, we are truly thankful and appreciative of your kindness to help us keep our doors open to those that need us.
We cannot thank Raised Floor Solutions enough for all of your continued support over the last three years – you have raised a staggering £24,521.85 for the hospice and I am sure I can speak on behalf of our children and families when I pass on their sincere thanks.
