Raised Floor Solutions has completed the car park floor construction contract at a new £80 million leisure development in Northwich.
Barons Quay is a premier leisure and retail park featuring shops, a multi-screen cinema, restaurants, cafes, new public realm spaces and parking for just under 1200 vehicles.
Raised Floor Solutions’ trading division, Metaldeck Steel Decking, delivered the contract, to supply and install 28,500m2 of Kingspan Multideck MD80.
MD80 is becoming the most widely specified trapezoidal deck for multi-storey car park design and build due to its long span widths and time/cost efficiencies. It also offers car park designers, such as sister trading division Metpark, the benefits of flexible layouts and to maximise bay volume, which in turn maximises revenues for car park operators.
The complex opened in Summer 2016.
Following the success of this and several other car park construction projects, Raised Floor Solutions has launched a specialist car park division; Metpark.
