Raised Floor Solutions’ specialist car parking division, Metpark, has secured the design and build contract for a new raised deck parking structure in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The impressive new build car park will accommodate up to 253 vehicles on a ground and first floor level.
Metpark’s team of specialist car park designers have provided a creative raised deck parking solution that incorporates a structural steel frame, supply and installation of composite car park deck and the casting of a reinforced concrete floor slab on the steel decking.
Metpark will also undertake the application of elastomeric surface coatings and the supply and installation of access stairs and electrical lighting.
Kingspan Multideck MD80 has been specified for the contract. MD80 is becoming one of the most widely specified trapezoidal steel decks due to its cost effectiveness and its long span widths.
